good to see support is out there, I just found you through the carersuk link, as I live in an isolated area and have my own disabilities, as my mothers carer,( she has advancing dementia, waiting for full diagnoise from memory clinic) some weeks its just her and me for most days, good to find a place to talk with people who understand. Good luck will be looking back soon .

Hello Ellen.

I have just seen your message and thank you very much for it. If you read through some of the other messages you may well discover ways of getting help as you are bound to feel more and more isolated - its inevitable I'm afraid.

There is help and support out there and it may be a good idea to ask - no! demand! - suggestions from the memory clinic when you go there. These clinicians don't always understand the difficulties from a human everyday point of view so it might be worth really asking them where do you go from here.

Please get in touch again as you need never be on your own in this.
Yours
Jill.
